All entries must be in writing or completed online.
All exhibits in Department J and K must be grown in Whiteside or adjoining counties. All exhibits must be correctly labeled.
Professional exhibitors may be barred on judgment of the superintendent. No more than one sample of any variety of farm products on the same farm may be entered for premiums in Departments J and K. Only one entry per exhibitor per class.
The exhibitor must be a resident of Whiteside or adjoining county and the bona fide raiser and owner of the articles exhibited. Where quality is specified, exhibits must conform to requirements.
Entries close at 4:00 PM the Friday before the fair. Persons exhibiting must first secure a membership ticket for $25.00.
All entries for premiums must be in the Agricultural Building by 4:00 PM the Monday before the fair. Judging will start at 5:30 PM the same evening. Rules will be strictly followed and no awards will be made on inferior exhibits even though there is no competition.
All vegetables must have stems left on.
Articles will be released at 4:00-6:00 PM on Saturday. Building will close 6:00 PM Saturday.

A traveling trophy will be awarded to the Premier Exhibitor in departments J and K. It will be awarded on a point basis with 5 points for a first place, 3 points for a second, and 1 point for a third place, with an additional 1 point for each entry made and creditably shown in Department J. It will be awarded in honor of Mrs. L. A. Abbott who was Superintendent of these departments for a number of years.
Trophies will remain on exhibit until articles are released on Saturday.

Entries are confined to any boy or girl who are between 8 and 21 years of age as of September 1st of the prior year.
Entries close 4:00 PM the Friday before the fair.
All requirements for junior exhibits are the same as those for Department J, Agricultural Products.
Entries must be checked in by department personnel by 4:00 PM on the Monday before the fair. Articles will be judged that evening.
All exhibits to be put in place by the exhibitors. Rules will be strictly followed and no awards will be made on inferior exhibits even though there is no competition.
All vegetables must have stems left on.
Exhibitors must secure a membership ticket for $25.00. Exhibitors 11 and under may enter by purchasing a children’s weekly pass for $5.00.
